Day by day

Day 1, Doha, Arrival: A ZayVoyage by SARI representative meets you at Hamad International Airport, takes you to your hotel, helps you check in and talks you through your itinerary. Ease into luxury with an optional visit to Place Vendome Mall, on your own. Overnight: Doha.

Day 2, Doha City Tour: After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Qatar and its galleries on the history and heritage of the people of Qatar, with a recreational park and playground on the site. Then the Museum of Islamic Art, a five story architectural wonder with audio guided tours, permanent and temporary galleries, cafés and restaurants. Continue to Banana Island, an artificial crescent shaped resort island off Doha with overwater villas, private beaches, a spa, fine dining and water sports, reached by ferry or private yacht. Finish at The Pearl, Qatar’s iconic man made island of luxury residences, upscale marinas, designer shopping, fine dining, hotels and waterfront promenades. Overnight: Doha.

Day 3, Desert Safari Experience: An unforgettable adventure across golden dunes: dune bashing, camel rides, sandboarding and sunset views over the dunes. Then relax under the stars at a traditional desert camp with Arabic coffee and dates, a barbecue dinner and cultural performances such as tanoura dancing or live music.

Day 4, Doha City Life Experience: After breakfast, visit the Katara Cultural Village, Doha’s arts, culture and heritage district, with its amphitheatre, the turquoise and purple tiled Katara Mosque, the Golden Mosque, the beach and the Al Thuraya Planetarium. Drive through the Mina District, Old Doha Port, a redeveloped waterfront of pastel colored buildings and marina views near the Museum of Islamic Art and Souq Waqif. End at Souq Waqif, Doha’s traditional marketplace, with spices, textiles, perfumes, handicrafts and traditional garments, restaurants and cafés, the Falcon Souq, art galleries and street performances.

Day 5, Doha City Exploration: Enjoy a 10 minute gondola ride on the indoor canal at Villaggio Mall (QR 10 per person, or QR 20 for a solo ride). It is popular on weekends and holidays, so allow for a possible wait, and it runs daily until midnight on Thursdays and Fridays. Then challenge your mind at the Museum of Illusions on the first floor of The Gate Mall in West Bay, with over 70 mind bending exhibits, including the Tilted Room, the Infinity Room, the Vortex Tunnel, the Ames Room and Pepper’s Ghost. It suits all ages and runs daily, until midnight on weekends.

Day 6, Lusail, Katara Towers, SUSHISAMBA and Wellness Activities: Start at the Katara Towers in the Lusail Marina District, completed in 2022 and designed to resemble two crossed scimitars, reflecting Qatar’s national emblem. They house the Raffles Doha and the Fairmont Doha, with boutiques, cinemas, restaurants and recreational facilities. Then dine at SUSHISAMBA Doha in the Waldorf Astoria Lusail, a fusion of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines with an open kitchen, a sushi counter, indoor and outdoor seating with views of Doha’s skyline, and live DJs. Finish with a wellness activity that balances mind and body.

Day 7, Departure: Depart Qatar with memories of luxury, heritage and hospitality. Time for last minute shopping and packing before your guide takes you to Hamad International Airport for your final departure.
