Day by day

Day 1, Arrival: A ZayVoyage by SARI representative meets you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, takes you to your hotel, helps you check in and talks you through your itinerary.

Day 2, Nairobi City Tour: Visit Nairobi National Park, within the city, to spot lions, giraffes, rhinos and zebras. Then the Giraffe Centre, home of the Rothschild giraffe, where you can feed and meet them up close. Overnight: Nairobi.

Day 3, Nairobi to Maasai Mara: Depart for the Maasai Mara (4 hrs 30 mins) and enjoy an evening safari on arrival.

Day 4, Maasai Mara Full Day Game Drive: A full day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, ending with golden sunset views over the savannah. Overnight: Maasai Mara.

Day 5, Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha or Lake Nakuru: Depart the Mara for the lake of your choice. Rest of the day at your hotel, with a chance to see flamingos on arrival. Overnight: Lake Naivasha or Lake Nakuru.

Day 6, Departure to Nairobi: Travel to Nairobi, with the rest of the day at your hotel. Overnight: Nairobi.

Day 7, Departure to Mombasa: Begin with a wellness morning: a spa and massage session, or any wellness activity you choose. In the afternoon, take part in a cultural experience and donate basic essentials to a local community. Optional shopping for arts and crafts at the local market. Overnight: Diani.

Day 8, Wasini Island Tour: After breakfast, depart Diani for a Wasini Island water safari: dolphin and whale sightings, snorkelling in Kisite Marine National Park, Wasini village, boat tours and diving. Lunch on the island, then return to Diani. Relax at the hotel, with a nightlife experience in the evening. Overnight: Diani.

Day 9, Departure to Nairobi: Relax at the hotel in the morning, then fly from Mombasa to Nairobi later in the day. Overnight: Nairobi.

Day 10, Departure: A 30 minute drive from your hotel to the airport. Depending on your flight, enjoy last minute shopping and packing before our guide takes you to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your final departure.
