Day by day

Day 1, Arrival in Cotonou: A ZayVoyage by SARI guide meets you at Cotonou International Airport and transfers you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, relax and get ready for the next day’s adventure. Overnight: Cotonou.

Day 2, Cotonou City Tour: Visit Dantokpa Market, one of West Africa’s largest markets, and explore the Artisanal Center. See the Amazon Statue and key monuments, and visit Fidjrossè Beach. Overnight: Ouidah.

Day 3, Cotonou to Porto-Novo: Transfer to Porto-Novo, Benin’s official capital. Visit the Ethnographic Museum, explore the Royal Palace of King Toffa and discover the colonial era architecture. Overnight: Porto-Novo.

Day 4, Porto-Novo Cultural Immersion: Visit the Da Silva Museum, with its Afro-Brazilian heritage, and explore the Adjarra Blacksmith Village. Optional traditional dance or voodoo cultural experience. Sunset walk through the historic quarters. Overnight: Porto-Novo.

Day 5, Porto-Novo to Ouidah: Depart in the morning for Ouidah, the spiritual heart of Vodun culture. Visit the Sacred Forest, the Temple of Pythons and the Ouidah Voodoo Museum, and follow the historic Slave Route to the Door of No Return monument. End with a beach sunset experience. Overnight: Ouidah.

Day 6, Ouidah, Abomey and Cotonou: Drive to Abomey and visit the Royal Palaces of Abomey, a UNESCO site. Return to Cotonou in the evening, with an optional farewell dinner. Overnight: Cotonou.

Day 7, Departure: Airport transfer according to your flight schedule. End of services.
